Using a well-known braai expert, we enticed users to enter a competition where they could win a braai party. Using map integration, the campaign’s aim was not only to give away prizes, but to increase awareness for the Supa Quick store foot print across South Africa.
Optimising mechanics such as geo-based platforms like Foursquare, we asked people to “claim their fire” by logging into our microsite, filling in the form, and then sharing. The site would then track the virtual fires around South Africa, displayed on an interactive map.
The campaign was supported with social media videos (braai tips and tutorials) from BraaiBoy.
