A tangible way to talk about poaching for medicinal purposes.
This campaign was designed to really pull on the heartstrings and encourage donations toward the fight against illegal wildlife trade. We wanted to find an visually impactful way to show people which animals are traded illegally most frequently and demonstrate what they are used for medicinally. We decided to go with very dark dramatic imagery, showing a live animal that was edited to illustrate how that commodity was used; i.e. decorative ivory and a medicinal prescription sticker on a pangolin. This was done in order to help the audience see the end result of illegal trade, as well as the life in the animal that would be lost during the process.
