A summer campaign for Telkom always needs something new and fresh, something that stands out amongst the crowd of the other Telcos with much bigger budgets. So, that’s what we did – a never before seen in South Africa emoji engine. The concept allowed the audience to comment with an emoji recipe starting with the blue heart to try unlock a custom, AI generated videos, unique to each combination. This allowed repetitive comments and engagement while people tried every emoji combo possible to try unlock 50 creative AI videos. Resulting in massive reach for very few retainer hours.
